This has been resolved. A new DroidCam Client update (v7.1.0) is rolling out to existing users and is available on the website for new users.

Heads up iOS users ℹ️ If you have iOS 17, and the Permissions for DroidCam disappear; just re-install the app from the App Store to get Permissions restored. This will be addressed in the next update.
So, @dev47apps doing the 4k upgrade to their Droidcam app/plugin is fucking fantastic. Ran it on stream tonight, everyone said it looked CRISP. 4k camera capability without spending hundreds of dollars. Customization and easy setup. If you aren't using it, you're wrong.

Things I've learned today: 1. Cell phone with Droidcam OBS by @dev47apps is the easiest way to set up a quality webcam. Plug and play webcams are second and DLSR/Mirrorless are the hardest. 2. Canon's webcam software is a SUPER resource hog. 3. There is a mini AND micro HDMI🤦
