So, you just came and checked our RAC battery, bought and fitted by you just over 3 years ago, and confirmed it was dead. But it’s not covered by warranty as it was x number of ohms when tested, so we’ll have to pay £170 for another one. What a total con. #RAC #rac_uk #therac_uk

@TheRAC_UK just checked my auto renew RAC membership for next year. £117 administration charge on top of the extortionate renewal price. Disgraceful. Daylight robbery!
@TheRAC_UK just wanted to say that after a really disappointing experience talking to one of your advisors on the phone yesterday, the gentleman that actually attended my car today was an absolute superstar 👍
@TheRAC_UK WOW! What a HORRIBLE automated system. 8 Hours wait for recovery. No human contact. Had to trick the phone system to get through to a person. RAC system had put my recovery 'on hold' for no apparent reason. DEFINITELY won't be renewing!

@TheRAC_UK - very disappointed to be told it will take 7 hours to recover our car and family (inc 2 <5yrs kids) from side of the motorway.. not really sure what to do now. Should we wait till 1am (estimated arrival time) or try and recover ourselves?

Know exactly how you feel, was left in a car from 21:00 until 7:00 the next day.
I’m diabetic and was left in 4 degree temperatures for 10 hours, no food and car is still not recovered after a whole week. Diabolical service.
Dear RAC I broke down on the 27th of May and notified the RAC at 21:00 hours, Seven days and twenty phone calls later and many emails, not a single response. Please give tell my why I have been left out to dry by the RAC. Donald Morrison Membership: 2001 1000 6793 998
