More than 45% of rural US hospitals operate at a loss. As a result of Trump’s “one big, beautiful bill.” more than 300 rural hospitals are at risk of closing. Flood’s home state of Nebraska is no exception, with 29 hospitals operating in the red. newrepublic.com/maz/post/20154…

Totally agree with the importance of these advances to importance of improving quality of life.
The 3 most significant public health advances of all time. IMO. (In no particular order) 1. Antibiotics. Systemic infections used to be a death sentence. 2. Public & private sanitation, including clean water supplies. 3. Vaccines.

Do not take ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) or naproxen (Aleve) during pregnancy in place of Tylenol. Unlike Tylenol, these NSAIDs can cause a miscarriage, serious birth defects or kidney damage.
The danger of announcing a *bogus* association between Tylenol & autism is that more women will take NSAIDs during pregnancy, which is *actually* associated with fetal harm. Unfortunately we may see an increase in oligohydramnios, premature closure of the ductus arteriosus, etc
