A part of The Emirates and the Training Ground will forever be for this man.
It is with deep regret that we report the passing of our Head Groundsman, Steve Braddock. Rest in peace, Steve ❤️
This will certainly contribute. Alongside Jonathan’s points is the issue of communication. In football there is such variety in language and awareness that time in a quiet environment with translator if needed can only help the accuracy of diagnosis and thus the player
Do you think @TheIFAB extra permanent sub is such a measure and will contribute? Curious to hear your expert's view 😉.
This is a good start. Still a long way for us to go to match the advances in concussion management and research in other sports.
Following our @TheIFAB Concussion Expert Group meeting, football is finally stepping forward for the protection of players at all levels with additional permanent substitution❗️All stakeholders agree: education is key➡️watch @FIFPro video with @PetrCech youtube.com/watch?v=pCFudA…
🏉 Hask is taking your questions tomorrow in our first ever "Ask Me Anything". What do you want to ask the big man? @jameshaskell
Honoured and excited to be selected to join the board on @UKSCA. Thank you to all the members who voted and thank you to those who couldn’t vote for their kind words, support and belief.
Many congratulations from all in the department here Dan.
Very excited to finally be a consultant in sport and exercise medicine. My journey started in 2006 sitting in clinic with @RodJaques and then doing the intercalated BSc @QMULSportExMed in 2007-08. Have so many people to thank for helping me get where I am today and am so grateful
Huge welcome to Flo Newton who has officially joined as First Team Doctor. Flo is a familiar face to all at Arsenal having worked as part of the Academy for a number of years. Flo will work alongside Gary and the rest of the team.
We wouldn’t get anywhere near our goals without the magnificent @sssophiec 💃 💪
For so many reasons preventing all spitting on the pitch must be a non-negotiable on return to train and return to play.
In my humble opinion

The French Sports Ministry has said that from May 11th the general public will be able to run, walk and cycle outside without restrictions. Professional athletes will be able to resume training after a health check. A yardstick for UK when it gets round to publishing its plans.

A first visit to @TheLewinClinic from the man who has helped us non-stop from the initial thoughts , through all the business plans , all the way to opening. It’s a long way from Texas... Genuinely , couldn’t have done it without you @richardlaw53 so huge thanks from us both.
An interesting day ahead highlighting concussion in sport. @WillStewNeuro leading the way in football studies and reminding all that that more studies needed and to consider the benefits of football alongside current headlines. #UKSCRS19 #FIELD study.
Delighted to be involved with @TheLewinClinic Absolutely no doubt Colin and Gary will make it a huge success. Anyone looking for top class physio treatment need to look no further!
So, here is a little look around the Lewin Sports Injury Clinic. We've had patients and everything is up and running including the boiling water tap ☕️ Thanks to BLKBOX for the gym equipment, adidas and Physique for supplies and set up lewinclinic.co.uk #lsic
Enjoyed sharing @Arsenal approach to player health. So much more than just the absence of injury and constantly evolving. Thanks to @FIFPro @VGouttebarge @thedrakefdn @jjpdrake
Great example of how football teams are evolving with @Alan_McCall_ and @Arsenal in the last 30 years and how now plays a major role in the present future. #BarçaPerformance #SportsScienceWeek #ASPC
