We get parents of children 8/9ish telling their kids what to buy, often pushing them to books the kids are less keen on. Then we get parents of teens telling us they can't get their child to read. It's connected. Parents, I BEG you, let your kids read what they want to read.

Some pictures from last night’s event with Anna Bogutskaya. We talked haunted houses, ageing bodies (mainly women’s), cannibals and this generation’s (lack of) monsters. And everyone went away with a huge watchlist. It was so good.
