I’ve always felt sports does two things extremely well: unite communities and provide a distraction from everyday life. I’m not sure we’ve ever needed those two things more than the last 15 months. Thanks to everyone at the @canes for terrifically providing both.

It was great to celebrate Jamie & Tera Black last night. Tera was the @CheckersHockey COO for almost 20yrs, helping them move to and thrive in @TheAHL. She’s been a great friend and mentor, and as it showed last night, a lot of other folks felt the same. Cheers Tera & Jamie!

I know launching a new uniform is like debating your favorite music genre but I think our design team, with @Fanatics, crushed this jersey. Our collective group wanted a different look from our other sets that paid homage to the collegiate area. I think they nailed it.
Shoutout to local Raleigh artist, @isabelladearr, for hand painting these custom Stan Smith’s for me. The artistry looks like a print - it’s that good. 😍
