Cabin Fever from @newhollandbrew. Mellow malty start, creamy texture, caramel notes. Delicious w/roasted squash.
Enjoyed some Centennial IPAs from @foundersbrewing for the Fourth; made us look forward even more to moving to Michigan!
Hell or High Watermelon from @21stAmendment = Summer. Feeling a million degrees cooler now.
Blue tractor's East Bound & Brown Ale. Sweet, a little booze taste, v clean finish. Nice grainy taste.
2nd round @ grizzly: victor's gold. Decent hops. Balanced malt. Crisp. Washes away most previous beer sins.
Grizzly Peak, Co. Cork Irish stout. Tastes like beery water, followed by an ethyl alcohol flavor. WTF did I just order?
Arbor brewing company Brasserie Blonde. Nice citrus taste, sweet, honey finish.
Gorilla warfare porter from @sixpoint. Are there actually grains in this, or did you just ferment coffee beans?
*Finally* trying a Bourbon County Stout from @GooseClybourn. A bloody fantastic mélange of caramel, vanilla, and hints of oak & bourbon.
Sipping on a Nor’ Easter from @cptlawrencebeer: hefty w/ notes of spiced berries, bourbon, and vanilla. Makes for a pleasant blizzard ale!
Picked up a growler from @bierkraft, mason's black wheat from @sixpoint. Hoppy at first, malty taste comes 2nd. Not v. sweet.
Listening to Miles Davis & Nina Simone while brewing “Dewey Dunkelweizen”—ready to drink in late March / early April.
Shoals Pale Ale from @smuttynosebeer: Smooth, with a lingering grapefruit-laced hoppiness and a solid, medium body.
