This was unnecessary. @ONOptometrists has been transparent all along, the Ministry has not. There is no commitment to cover operating costs now and in the future. The OAO asked you to help with a cost study, but you refused. This doesn’t come close to righting years of neglect
@celliottability Ontario is supposed to be a leader and a “have”province. Not a “have not” province. How do we fall so far behind every other province with publicly funded eye care for Seniors and Children in Canada. Your 8% brings us nowhere close to the next lowest province.
