I enjoyed presenting some of my PhD data on the experiences of #MentalHealth nurses at an @NHSEngland webinar today. Grim content but important we're honest about how stressful and traumatising the role can be. The role absolutely requires a decent education. #MHDeservesBetter

Thanks - would not have been surprised to see more burnout/distress.I have agreed for ages with @mirandarwolpert under resourcing of CYPMHS creates moral injury as our circa 20K staff try to help as many of the 2m+ CYP as they can but have to say no too often - time to change!

Eating disorders are often thought to be rare mental health conditions, but this new report by @NHSDigital shows they are far more common than people realise.
