On the contrary. At his current valuation you can address multiple problem areas with the same fee. Brighton is negotiating based on what they believe his value should be to us. If he’s worth that much he should work wonders for them next season.
Chelsea have to pay for Caicedo, he will be worth it like Enzo was. Onana, Lavia and anyone else you want to throw at us for the number 6 is a big downgrade. We can’t walk away from our priority target after spending this long, it would be a catastrophe.
