It’s absolutely wild to me that we’re pretending that the higher than average number of respiratory tract infections and the pandemic of adults with pneumonia this year is not a warning sign of immune impairment. This is literally how immunodeficiency would present.
I was given subpar treatment by a doctor today because I asked him to wear a mask. Masks are still mandated by law in clinical spaces here, he had cold symptoms, and I am immunodeficient. He didn't even have a mask available to put on, he had to ask the front desk for one.
Fuck the people tell YOU to put YOUR body at risk. Are they payin your medical bills? They gonna go to your family and explain what happened? They gonna support your kids and dependents? Are they gonna pay for the casket? No. So fuck em and their little opinions.
