So this plus other issues. Attracting players to a team that spends more time playing in times of the year that will have more bad weather games, cold, wet, snow? Already a disadvantage from warmer weather teams, now even tougher. Training more often on turf is not idea.

Big changes coming! The one thing we can all agree on is that over the years #MLS has adapted to whatever has been thrown at it. New rules, new formats, now a new calendar. As always… the fans will make this work. Exciting times!
What a bunch of mealy mouth shit. Sorry to be so blunt but KEA statement totally neglects all the real problems of a Minnesota or Montreal in a winter schedule. Maybe even Toronto, RSL and Colorado. I am pretty sure MN management/ownership were not at all happy about this.
The new schedule puts cold westher teams at a disadvantage now that they'll have to train on turf pretty heavily or move somewhere warm to train during the break. #mls
