I saw an opinion that said "rogol itu datang daripada meja-meja kuliah di masjid dan surau yang tidak mengulang-ngulang pesan tentang rogol sebagai dosa besar yang dilaknat Tuhan dan masuk neraka seperti mana acapnya mereka mengulang-ngulang tentang "dosa wanita" tidak menutup…
Budak2 yang berjaya elak couple, they already have enough validation from their parents. Please give enough love and attention to your children, be supportive to their interests (hobby and academically), before they yearn validation from a schoolmate.
well i get it shin chan is weird but its due to a fact it is actually a seinen show but doraemon???
Regarding rape culture, nobody mentioned this. I grew up with rape-ish visuals. Shin Chan? Doraemon? Do people actually overlook how sexualized the characters were? I always found those scenes weird. How come we were able to watch those with adults together in the living room?
Tbh Japanese cartoonists are perv AF. Waktu kecik2 mungkin rasa kelakar, but lets say we put Malaysian animation In that condition, tiba2 baru rasa wtf. Dari Shin Chan gatal, Nobita suka mengintai, Digimon Tamers ada tunjuk silhoutte bebudak tak pakai apa2.

Dulu kecik kecik tengok shin chan tak pernah terfikir/ tahu pasal ni yang tahu tu kartun, hiburan. Dah besar baru pandai sikit yang tu semua sexualized kan characters.

Unfortunately, gotta admit the pedophilic content. Those type of comedies are normalised in Japanese entertainment industry, especially in the 70’s/80’s.

Betul gak ni
I think that most, if not all, cartoons and movies are filled with subtle forms of “soft porn”, at the very least, content that excites the hormonal and not-yet-developed young mind. It contributes to the shaping of a hypersexualized society, not that Im blaming victims.
Me too. Even when i was a child, i felt really uncomfortable watching those pervy shots

This is what people don't understand. To hire a disabled person requires accommodating their disability. Instead of being legally obligated (but never actually enforced) to do that, they prefer to bypass it all together and not have the disabled person working with them at all.
Imagine being a disabled person trying to compete in this market. Employers don’t like hiring disabled people to begin with.
Every time "good men" talk about rape prevention kan, why does it always seem like diorang langsung tak baca berita terkini? Contoh kalau berita tu pasal bapak rogol anak sendiri, diorang still preach "tu pasal perempuan kena tutup aurat" 🙄
Even non-Malay Malaysian movies pun banyak gila yang power. Jagat, Snow In Midsummer, Pavane For An Infant, Simple Manusan. You just need to open your heart and mind, and give our local movies a chance.
