I went to a client book launch last night for the first time in over a decade. I really believe in J.S. Harman and his book, Dark Sands. It's a wonderful sci-fi novel, entirely approachable for all readers—I just love it! Thank you for a lovely night, and for the shout out!

Ace and I went to Critical Role's one shot here in Melbourne at Rod Laver arena yesterday. We stood out in the wind and rain for 2-3 hours. We got a HEAP of merch and met up with friends, it was the BEST NIGHT! Also, some stranger gave me some Traveller slips. Hello, Bees!

Today is the digital input of Phoenix Rising! One round of line editing is two passes. We read words differently on the screen and on paper, so I do one of each to catch all those pesky typos, find those inconsistencies, and tweak the words to be as effective as can be.
As soon as I finish doing the morning thing (breakfasts, school drop off, finishing my coffee, etc.) then I have an uninterrupted day of editing. I'm so looking forward to it! Tied up the remainder of two edits yesterday, looking at a third today! What's on your agenda?
