Fixed the small EVAP system leak by replacing the leak detection pump and the “check gas cap” message went away 🙌🏾 this is the coolest journey God has been taking me on. I’ve never been under a car let alone have done car repairs a day in my life! God is just the coolest 🤍
Did live sound for the 1st time with 2 podiums mics, 1 handheld, 1 other mic idk what it’s called, video audio input, music audio input, & 1 matrix output for video. Thought we needed inputs for the cellos but didn’t, & I sequenced the show music. Was such a cool experience!
If I ever need an extra or new travel interface, I definitely want to try it.
and close your eyes from time to time when mixing so you’re not hearing with your eyes. bypass plugins often to see if you’re working against your original intent for the plugin bc you’ll try to compensate for it later on in the chain & over process @supahmariobeats
esp. on larger sessions fan out every single sound on the stereo spectrum, leave no sound on top of each other unless in different frequencies. Brighter hardly ever means more high end.
Lotta 808s can be muddy even though it lives in the low end. Do a slight low cut or shelf if needed. Use a frequency chart to find the fundamental frequency of each sound and scoop or cut the other frequencies. Tighten wobbly 808s with compression. Subtractive eq to brighten.
Learning manually editing plosives, sibilants, and volume make a bigger difference than relying on a plugin for the heavy work 🎚️
