Outgoing politician speeches are often piercing and insightful. This one from July 2024 is 🎯 especially on house prices and the economy. I recommend watching, to the end.

One of the unintentionally funniest tweets I’ve seen on here

It's so fucking blackpilling to know a big reason why this government is so unpopular is that Rachel Reeves is a woman who dared be good at economics, a "boy's subject"

wtf? “Mainly white people”

Hitler had 6 million mainly white people killed: “the most evil man that ever lived” Leopold of Belgium had at least 10 million black people killed: “never heard of him” Wonder why?

Shocking

Shocking story. Proud of my fabulous @outertemple colleagues James Leonard KC and Charlotte Elves, who have poured untold hours of pro bono work into this case. theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/n…

This briefing from BBC “insider” sources is insane. The charge seems to be Gibb is right wing & that invalidates some well-founded criticisms of BBC impartiality failings in a couple of well-founded areas. And it’s bad that “newer” members of board agreed with Gibb. Has it…

Seems like a good day to share my exposé of the BBC's report that supported the idea that male 'milk' was just as good for babies as women's breast milk. I looked at the evidence behind the claims and found the BBC had got their facts completely wrong. millihill.substack.com/p/dear-bbc-you…

My photo with the cola comes from a feeling: those who boycott from outside Gaza really think they are supporting the Palestinian cause, and that they have the right to police us and insult us simply because they refuse to drink a soda. The picture is a message to all of them:…

I drank cola for the first time since October 7th

This is political insanity!

Rachel Reeves indicates she is looking at scrapping the two-child cap *entirely* 'I don't think a child should be penalised through being in a bigger family for no fault of their own 'We will take action on child poverty. The last Labour government proudly reduced child…

In the last six months, I have seen more antisemitism on the right than at any time in my life. If we refuse to denounce it, it could destroy the Republican Party just as it has destroyed the Democrat Party.

I made a program on homelessness for R4. Two teens in care told me they couldn’t get a hostel bed — too many migrants. 1 in 3 rough sleepers are migrants. My BBC editor warned: “You’ll never work here again if you talk about immigration.” I insisted. Never did work there again.

I think what’s interesting about the leaked memo on the culture at the BBC and the subsequent circling of the wagons, is that nothing will change. There appears to be a lot of navel gazing from BBC employees and defenders

This on the BBC: "This" writes the sensible @matthewsyed "is why I’d argue (perhaps optimistically) that this week offers a window of opportunity for the BBC. The courageous move would be to acknowledge Prescott’s findings, perhaps even to admit what is, I think, undeniable:…

It is literally true that the white poppy, here worn by @ZackPolanski, is a symbol of fascism. It’s sold by @PPUtoday, which was bluntly on Hitler’s side in WW2. John Middleton Murry, editor of the PPU journal Peace News, termed Nazism “the destined instrument” of European unity.

sharing this as Barney nearly gets it. He still believes Israel should be banned from sport for the war in Gaza (nonsense) but also calls out those who don’t protest City and the links to Sudan. But as he knows, everyone hates Israel hence lack of noise theguardian.com/football/2025/…

Is this a parody? Half a mile? Thats a 10 minute walk!

580,000 people in Massachusetts live in “pharmacy deserts,” areas where residents live at least half a mile away from the nearest drugstore. It doesn't have to be this way — healthcare is a human right!

It's being reported that more people have died in a single week in Sudan than in 2 years in Gaza but no one seems to really care.
