The Political Assembly is focused on a key priority for the @EPP: illegal immigration. Our policy is clear: combat irregular migration, fight criminal smuggling networks, and return all those who threaten our security. And, of course, NO to left-wing mass regularisations.
Today at the political assembly of the EPP we made clear: we are on the right track to have control of who can enter the EU, who can stay, and who needs to leave again.
It’s a pleasure to welcome the @EPP family to the @EU_CoR for the Political Assembly. Together, we are discussing key priorities for Europe — migration and the next #MFF — and reaffirming our commitment to strong local and regional voices in shaping the EU’s future. @sarirautio
At our first panel on the external dimension of migration at the EPP Political Assembly, we reaffirmed our firm and fair approach: protecting our borders, fighting smugglers and strengthening partnerships with third countries.
Excited to kick off another EPP Political Assembly, this time at the @EU_CoR. Looking forward to engaging with our members and shaping our shared priorities for 2026, from strengthening the external dimension of migration to advancing the new Multiannual Financial Framework.
