It's fair to want to leave Bama out after this performance but it's also curious that they are getting jumped by teams that didn't play this week because they weren't good enough to make their conference championship game.
So my understanding is that Norvell’s buyout drops to $48 mil next year. Is that enough to keep him around? Is it because the assistants won’t be paid anymore? What’s the level of money that makes this untenable?

What do you gain by going for that? The value proposition is terrible on so many of these decisions.
I can’t even enjoy when this team makes good plays. I’m mad Joseph didn’t make it into the end zone because I have no confidence the offense can.
Every week players talk about how they like Norvell and then they come out and do nothing to prove that. Just a bunch of talk by this coaching staff and the players.
Maybe FSU will revamp the front office. Hopefully FSU does and Norvell does not. I’d like to see FSU build out a front office that is not bespoke to the coach and advertise that to candidates in the next coaching cycle. If no changes are made they were full of it all along.
Really glad Mike knows how to fix this team. I can’t wait until he’s raising trophies.

I think I’m on team Keep Norvell. The market is not in FSU’s favor. If they had a smart AD they’d focus on getting a good GM that can help get FSU’s house in order. The market will still be tough for that but not as costly. Figure that out and be a bigger fish next year.
Then again if FSU is also searching for a new AD you can’t be looking for a new football coach.
You aren’t going to likely get too far down the road in hiring somebody until after the season anyways and by then you’ll be the 4th or 5th best job? It might be better to wait and figure out the landscape before spending that money.
