Boyne & Hamza’s (@The_CARE_Lab) new daily diary study provides novel microlongitudinal evidence for the role of pain tolerance in NSSI. On days where individuals reported higher pain tolerance, they were more likely to engage in NSSI -an effect moderated by emotion dysregulation.
