Hey @Steam Just cycled my password and got told it "doesn't meet requirements". Making it LESS complex worked. People use password managers now, please change this. Also, standard TOTP/FIDO2 would be nice, anytime in the last 3 years is fine.

Building stuff with eventbridge and step functions feels the same as picking up a computer game with flawless controls. The output is beautifully choreographed (if you have the skills) and there's satisfaction with every move.

Engineers that decommission Windows systems should be called Deglaziers. I’m going to make this a thing at @FundApps.

My body: Ok I’ve got the heart beating, respiration, digestion, immunity, hormones, enzymes, motor function, nerves, plumbing, memory filing, visual & auditory processing, and wound healing covered. All you need to do is give me some nutrients, sleep, and sunlight. Cool? Me: Nah

This is very exciting for people using .Net Core on AWS Lambda. 20-70% faster cold starts 🤯

We have been experimenting with .NET's preview AOT support for improving Lambda cold start. For some scenarios we are seeing big improvements. Here is a repo showing how we are testing and would love to hear more from the community their experience. github.com/awslabs/dotnet…

Yubikey does a pretty solid job of working around this, but the struggle is real!

I've been using Yor to add git metadata to AWS resource tags for a little while now and one of the things I've not been able to do is track git changes for both modules and their parent caller. The solution popped into my head, so I wrote a blog post. medium.com/p/22216afd775d

After hearing yet another futile pitch attempting to get someone to trade their (working) logs for traces, I want to say some words about why it's often difficult to convince engineers that distributed tracing is useful.
