colleague vibecoded a shitty mqtt client which is super buggy with gpt. moral for builders: ask ai to use state of the art libraries (such as paho) they are proven to work and you save in headaches + tokens!

This app sucks. My feed is a mix of AI doomerism (all jobs gone in 12mo). Or fear mongering that jobs are still here but you are falling behind if you don’t spend 25/8 upskilling. Is it just me? I need some early spring cleaning on my feed. It’s exhausting.
How can the SOTA AI software (Claude code, imo) have this software gore terminal rendering?

Currently running claude's hardest task so far. In uni I made a fairly complex genetic algorithm trading bot (yeah i know) which worked well but was too complex and overfitted. Trying to extract the core knowledge and simplify it for another project. Let's see how claude does!
