If you've ever drawn any illustrations, you probably know that the artists often recommend to flip the piece you are working on to reset your mental state so you can notice mistakes you weren't noticing while working on it. Debuggers have similar effect I think.
I like em dashes, and I hate that some people now take them as evidence of text being AI generated.
