I wanted to soothe my hunger for the ocean, but knew today wasn't a good day. I asked for someone to drive me to the lake, no one responded yes. So I went with my recuperating body to a pool, sat on the edge, dangled my feet and felt satisfied.
Traveling from the Orlando airport today was challenging. The lines to drop off checked and tagged luggage at Deltan were so long I missed my flight. Taking Uber from the Atlanta airport home was outrageously priced. Twice the normal fare.

The delivery company used by Arhaus is unreliable and impossible to contact. It's infuriating.

I thought I could drive anywhere, if I had my iPhone. I got into my rental car in Montreal and no GPS worked. I rode around for four hours, unaware of which direction to drive. When you don't know where you are, it's impossible to know which way to head!

There's a reunion this week-end of former staff writers for The Florida Alligator. My first paycheck for writing was from The Florida Alligator. I'm eager to get together with others to see where their paths have taken them.

I've spent the week getting settled in my new apartment. My second bedroom is still filled with boxes, mostly of books. I'm so glad to have brought my books. They comfort me!
