i love how the documentary proves that this failure of a season was the duffers’ full responsibility. they were aware of the plot holes, that the scripts were rushed and there was a lot of pressure and yet they refused any input from the actors and writers because of their egos
so there’s actual photos of leigh (ross ex wife) working on set and she got NO credit… her influence on this show has gone unrecognised for too long

The fact El's arc in season 4 was literally about her healing from her trauma and breaking free from the male validation that haunted her so she could achieve her independence, and then in season 5 they reduced her to killing herself and being nothing more than a man's fantasy
