Ever since seeing Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, the idea of letting music breathe has been echoing in my mind. Really sitting with the melodies the artist has crafted, letting the work evolve and live on its own terms, rather than chasing charts, a film for the creatives!
In Yojimbo - Dir. Kurosawa told actor Toshiro Mifune that his character, Sanjuro, was like a wolf or a dog. Mifune created a shoulder-twitch gesture to represent the animalistic nature of his character, like a dog scratching for fleas. I noticed Bosch does this as well. #Bosch

The Night of the Hunter (1955) was slammed for being too weird. What critics missed was that Charles Laughton crafted a dark fairytale told through a child’s eyes, visually inspired by German Expressionism. One & done, yet he made a masterpiece.
