I avoid posting in this toxic cesspool. But this is heartbreaking. Prayers for LGBTQ+ siblings across all faith traditions. God forgive people of faith who pander to ignorance, bigotry and violence. @bluesky edition.cnn.com/2025/02/17/afr…

The horrors unfolding in northern Gaza are the result of a completely unrestrained Netanyahu gov, fully armed by the Biden admin while food aid is blocked and patients are bombed in hospitals. This is a genocide of Palestinians. The US must stop enabling it. Arms embargo now.

My goodness. What a stunning, insightful, profound and never-before-asked question. The resulting Twitter discussion will undoubtedly result in a definitive answer and enrich the overall wisdom of humanity.

If God exists, why is there so much evil in the world?

I'm truly fed up with people whinging about 'managerialism' in the church. The church has been controlled by lawyers for a thousand years, not MBA graduates. Yes, crude managerialism is awful - but it's naive and delusional to pretend it's the underlying cause of all church ills.

Or, @OctopusEnergy , as it’s 2024, how about you give me a smart meter and stop giving me text message orders, and I give you customer loyalty? Squid pro quo. Let’s do it!

Smaller Labour share of votes than 97, 01, 05, and 17. But as ever, 34% of votes, 63% seats - 1/3rd mandate, 2/3rds vast political power. 🤡

Easier said than done (to put it mildly). But still one for @synod perhaps.
