It's time to up the MSP game and move away from insecure centralised management tools that leave us all vulnerable and at the mercy of the vendors who own them

It's borderline scandalous that it's the JOB of #MSP tools to manage IT hardware and networks, yet none of them do a good job of managing or reporting on the assets without spending more on additional tools
#Solarwinds got hacked. #Ubiquiti got hacked. #ConnectWise got hacked. #Kaseya got hacked. While MSPs rely on single service providers to manage their estate, we're all vulnerable and so are our clients. Time for a new approach #futuremsp
Imagine signing up for a PSA, finding out using it in the UK would be ILLEGAL because of a woeful lack of GDPR compliance, asking questions, being told 'yeah our policy is a bit of a mess isn't it' and being charged $3500 to cancel? Yes, it happens
What if, just what if, you could manage it all yourselves, securely, easily, in your own way, without onerous contractual terms and licensing costs? Watch this space...
If you are a UK #MSP, your PSA provider is probably barely #GDPR #UKGDPR compliant, if at all. What is the Data Location, Backup Location, and who has access? Based in the US? Check their contract for #StandardTerms,
Consider: your PSA has no good reporting module so you buy a 3rd party integration for reporting. Your PSA then buys the 3rd party reporting provider, but changes nothing. You end up paying them twice. #ITRTG There is a better way...
PSA Vendors have been rinsing MSPs for a long time, with BS like reporting services as an add on, onerous contract terms, and poor service. It's time for something new.
