Next up, foundation of the Form Builder designer.
I have just release v1.07 of @Dlayer_app, this is the first of five releases which will return the Form Builder.
v1.06 of @Dlayer_app in progress, you can now define the column class to create responsive layouts.
Progress on @Dlayer_app has been great, five releases over the last three weeks. bit.ly/2k0O03R
I have just released v1.05 of @Dlayer_app along with a quick hotfix. This version adds the database setup module bit.ly/2k0uqEJ
Finally got the setup process to do something, it creates tables, rest is simple now I have the basic foundation.
I don't think v1.05 will take too long, v1.06 is a little more complicated, I'd love to have both complete within the next two weeks #timer
Goals for v1.05 & v1.06 detailed, I will add a set-up/reset process and take first steps to return the Form Builder bit.ly/2iZt24v
I've fixed one more bug but it didn't make it into the release, the fix is however live, the Heading tool now works.
I have just v1.04 of Dlayer, responsive web development, v1.04 fixes bugs as well as minor changes to improve UX/UI. bit.ly/2i8CbDe
Time for a bug hunt with v1.04
Dlayer, v1.03 released, this release was mainly UX improvements to reduce the number of clicks required to navigate. bit.ly/2iTHg73
As I am between contracts I should be able to manage at least one release per week. v2.00 by Christmas, lol.
Two minor releases within a week of launch, progress is going well. I'm hoping to get to the setup/reset scripts somewhere around v1.04.
It is amazing that spotty internet is still a thing, it wasn't so much the download but the terrible upload
Dlayer v1.01 has been released, I've had spotty internet and couldn't risk releasing the update. bit.ly/2ihbAFF
Still a long way to go but with the release of v1.00 I can move onto growing the app. bit.ly/2hdLWTl
The refactoring was all needed but it is time to move on with new development.
The only thing in my favour, the base tools code dates back to the start of Dlayer and I haven't had too many major design problems.
I'm stumped it took this long to spot, as I have said, nothing makes you review your code like Open Sourcing it
The quest for modular tools in Dlayer, somewhere I took a wrong turn, back on track bit.ly/2bWvl41
Dlayer, the responsive web development tool, it is starting to take shake, v0.99 still on track for mid-September.
The demo site for Dlayer is now running v0.99-alpha-3, demo @ bit.ly/2c3270M the full change list is @ bit.ly/2c0XHHn
According to Pivotal Tracker the v0.99 release is still on track for mid-September.
I'm eager to release it now but it would be silly, I can't touch it again till at least 7pm tomorrow.
Dlayer v0.99-alpha-3 release created on GitHub, will release it tomorrow on demo.dlayer.com
I'm going to have a drink when I release v0.99 and an even bigger drink when I release v1.00
.@jetbrains I switched to PHPStorm 4 months ago, daily it still amazes me how far you are ahead of the competition, thank you, keep it up.
