31 ball century for Urvil Patel. Scoring quick centuries again. Scored a 28 ball century last year. CSK have a problem of plenty when it comes to their openers. #SMAT
Not sure if anyone has this information but my feeling is India have been below par while playing on RED SOIL wickets. Just from memory I feel like a lot of home losses have come on Red Soil. Does it bring both teams into play due to the bounce? #INDvSA
In the last 40 years England have won 4 Alive Tests (50) v Aus in Aus. For the record Aus have won 4 Alive Tests (32) in India. #Rivals #Ashes #BGT
So the Sanju–Jadeja move is not a direct 18 Cr swap. Jaddu's arrival puts RR in the 4 retention slab of 61 Cr while Jaiswal,Riyan,Jurel & Hettie add up to 57 Cr. That 4 Cr hit meant Jaddu had to come in at 14 and not 18. RR would have lost 4 more if he came at 18.
This Test match win is for Simon Harmer. Cricket always gives back. What a performer he has been and it would have been a travesty if he was not impactful in a TEST WIN in India. This win is for Harmer the warrior!! #INDvRSA
64 crores in a small auction is massive advantage to have. Highest someone has ever had. It’s not like KKR have to build entire squad. Pretty much just 2 highly demanding first 11 slots. #IPLAuction
Vaibhav Suryavanshi - how do you deal with such a talent ? Fast track him to the national setup or wait till he plays more and learns? His debut IPL season surely shows that he belongs here. May be have to Wait to see if the second season syndrome Affects him?
Great to see so much activity in the trade window. Slowly teams are realising that this is a much better option than relying on the vagaries of a Mini Auction. However I would always prefer player trades than Cash. Unless profitable hardly makes strategic sense for the seller.
It is a mystery to me why Zampa never has played majority of games in an IPL season. Always does well against the best players And been good in India as well. Hope that changes at some point. #AUSvIND
One thing that is clear is Batting Talent Pool in India is unbelievable and will continue to be reallly good. Pace and Spin bowling depth for T20s is still lacking and big opportunity for next generation to showcase their skills. Also wonder why is Sai Kishore not in this squad?
🚨 INDIA SQUAD FOR RISING STAR ASIA CUP 🚨 Jitesh (C & WK), Priyansh Arya, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Nehal, Naman Dhir (VC), Shedge, Ramandeep, Harsh Dubey, Ashutosh, Yash Thakur, Gurjapneet, Vijay Kumar Vyshak, Yudhvir Singh, Abhisek Porel (WK), Suyash.
Every batter knows what Josh Hazlewood is going to bowl and even then they struggle. Hoff is at his peak now doing the most basic things again and again across formats. What an outstanding bowler. #AUSvIND
India breaking Australia’s 16 match winning streak… Not for the first time!!! Well done @BCCIWomen . #CWC25
Took some time to start scoring but finished with a hundred. Steven Smith begins his Ashes prep in trademark style. #Ashes
Surprised BCCI hasn’t considered reviving the Challenger Trophy in T20 format. With India’s depth, 3 strong teams are guaranteed. Perfect to host post-SMAT — ticketed, crowd pulling and sponsor friendly. Great way for the best SMAT performers to test themselves against India A.
What a fantastic win for South Africa. Winning after losing the toss in the subcontinent is always very hard. Felt like they were very well prepared with their game plan. Great prep for the Indian tour.
Has to be the craziest sequence in cricket.
No other sport has so many challenges due to weather. Could be make or break for so many teams. Big tournaments especially need contingencies. With so many advancements in tech dynamic scheduling can’t be that hard.
Colombo rain has reduced the Women's WC to a joke. Zero excitement, no intrigue. Straightforward qualification. India can probably make it even with just one win out of three. It's that predictable.
Marnus making a serious case to start at Perth. I would go back to the WTC final team and give that team another chance for the First 2 Ashes Tests. Marnus Usman Green Smith Head Webster Carey Starc Hazlewood Lyon Boland. #Ashes2025
