Wearing my @yes23au badge at work and already had two conversations about it this morning #VoteYes ⚫️🟡🔴 (Thanks for the badge @scruff888)

I sent a colleague an email with resources for investigating nitrous leaks but misspelled their name I just got a reply from the non-medic person I accidentally emailed who was FASCINATED and wants to know more. Proof that the public wants a greener healthcare industry 🥲

Everything is happening. While climate scientists have been talking about North Atlantic sea surface temperatures these last few days, what's going on with sea ice in Antarctica is even more extreme, nearly 2.4 million km² below the 1991-2020 mean, with a big jump down today.

Another day, another record for the North Atlantic. Everything is happening so fast, it's hard to get a sense of the enormity of these anomalies, let alone their consequences.

Journals should make it much easier to submit a letter to editor or comment on a paper they've published. This is an important part of scientific discourse that has too many barriers.
