I'm calling it: "hate on those that use GUI for git" is a REALLY bad take, aka 💩 Repeat after me: My brain is for logic, not for remembering obscure CLI arguments. Do you really think I could be this productive in *one* year without using GUIs ? @git_extensions for the win!

I still feel like there are a lot people that hate on those that use GUI to interact with git. I understand the point, you should understand what command the gui is doing for you. But what if you do understand well but still just find it easier to review changes in a UI.

📢v3.5.4 is here! github.com/gitextensions/… Fixed few nasty issues such as - leaking brushes causing the app to crash, - lost/reset filters - splitter persistence.
Due to a series of unfortunate events our VS Extension was deleted from Henk's profile. The extension is now available at marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName…
📢 v3.5.3 is here! github.com/gitextensions/…

Nice! I merged @git_extensions .NET 5.0 port in few days ago too 😁 Now on to fixing things
Nothing. I often feel my work consists of continuous rebasing... Atomic commits FTW (and small WIP commits which allow for cleaning them up to atomic via interactive rebase later). Having a good tool set helps + throw-away TEMP backup branches. @git_extensions is amazing!
We are almost arm64 compatible ;)
:) @IgorRussKie . I did some shortcuts on things that failed in the publish task and some cursedness for the VS-related things, but it works quite nice on .NET 6 ARM64. WebRequest and WebClient are EOL so those will have to be addressed, along with any synchronous methods.

Hey @transifex is there an API to get a list of all translators in a project? We'd like to get names of all translators who've been helping in translation of our app and give them kudos like we do for our GitHub contributors.

Hey, you. Yes, you! You're smart enough for the job you have You have so much potential, and you're going to achieve great things You deserve the good things in your life- you really do! You deserve better than the negative things that are holding you back You rock, own it!
@git_extensions is my favourite gui. It doesn't abstract away much from the cli commands so I always know what's going on. It has gotten me out of plenty of bad situations
We now have GitHub discussions github.com/gitextensions/…! A great place to ask questions (besides twitter and gitter 😄)
📢 #GitExtensions, a moderately popular OSS project, is looking for help from someone who understands Windows UI design and can design icons. We are #winforms-based app, and Fluent design isn't a 100% fit (but would be nice). RTs/referrals are appreciated. DM open.
