Tutorials are a great way to learn, don't diminish your learning potential by ignoring tutorials Follow some tutorials, then experiment yourself until you fully get your head around the topic
That’s the problem. I can build the webpage with a tutorial but trying to figure it out without is difficult
My suggestion, complementing to the others, it's to use the tool developers enable in your browser. You can see and test the css behavior without save and refresh the website again and again. I think it's a good way to learn too!
