I lost my Dad on Christmas Eve, after a brave battle with cancer. 68 years feels far too short, but I’m so thankful I got him as my Dad for 39 years. He was the best. If you’re lucky enough to still have yours, send him a message and tell him you love him. ❤️⚒️
He lost his mother when he was in first grade. One of the few memories he had left of her was her cookie jar, which he lost in a hurricane that destroyed his home and everything. This was his reaction when his daughter surprised him with an exact replica of that cookie jar. 🥹

My mom joined my dad in heaven yesterday at 1:20pm. My brother and my sister were by her side when she peacefully passed away. Today is the first day of my life where I no longer have the ability to speak to either one of my parents. That is a sad and empty feeling. God Bless 🙏
