Another ignorant MP who needs to check their facts. Our railways are more under public control - ie more nationalised - then they have EVER been. And it is GOVERNMENT driving the TO closures plan, not the rail industry. I despair of this level of ignorance amongst MPs. Appalling.

💥💥💥Brutal by @ayeshahazarika, refusing to let Craig Mackinlay MP enjoy his fictitious Johnson eulogy. CMK: "See what he achieved." AH: "What did he achieve?" CMK: "An electoral breakthrough for the Conservatives." AH: "And what did he do with it?" Absolutely merciless. ~AA

Shameful. ⁦@BBCSingers⁩ is one of the leading advocates of choral music in the world and their budget probably equals one sports presenter’s salary. The BBC corporate spin on it is beyond belief. theguardian.com/music/2023/mar…

Bring our railways back into public control?! Will someone please take Louise somewhere quiet and explain what a ridiculous statement that is?!

Labour will transform our public transport: 🚄 Deliver Northern Powerhouse Rail and HS2 in full 🚇 Bring our railways back into public control. 🚍 Extend power and control for communities over bus services and remove the ideological ban on municipal bus companies.

The world just changed - and not for the better. Ken Bruce is leaving @bbcradio2

Last winter we planted a medlar from @EastgateLarder’s collection in our village community orchard. During the summer drought the VH cttee devised a plan of watering. It thrives. @NorfolkCC, you can’t plant and hope, without a decent plan.

I drove along the Broadland Northway, around the edge pf Norwich, over the New Year was and was greeted with exactly the same sight as I was 3 years ago. Nothing but a forrest of dead trees cocooned in green plastic tubes.

An interesting read as the House of Commons begins debating the 2nd reading of the Retained EU Law Bill - by @GeorgePeretzKC, chair of our REUL working group, in today's Guardian: theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

It makes your jaw hang open. It makes you drool. They bring the country to its knees with their vanity, terrible judgement and inability admit past mistakes, and they think the answer is... bring back Boris Johnson? It boggles me. I despair of everything.
