So you made a non-recovery supporting choice. Sh*t happens. I've done it, we've all done it at some point. Harsh self-punishment won't take us back to un-make that decision. Breathe; blink; focus; & do the next teeny, tiny, recovery supporting thing.

I have terrible, disturbing, infuriating news. Wonton was adopted on Thursday to what seemed like a great home. She left as a healthy, perfect, playful kitten. Friday morning, just 20 hrs later, she was returned to me broken, bleeding, in critical condition.
The first night in her new home, Wonton got out of a window screen and fell 5 f*cking stories to the ground. The adopter didn't realize until morning, found where she had managed to drag herself under a car, and called me (thank god for that part).
