Grids is evolving into Robo and starting to come out of stealth. From now on, all comms will come from our main account. It’s go time.
Some news — Backdrop is now Robo. We’re slowly coming out of stealth to help any startup get a product built >10X cheaper + faster via AI ⚡ Much more coming soon.

New post on what we’ve seen in advising startups on initial product development and why I’ve recently advised a few teams to go for the AI version from the jump: flyingpenguins.io/p/why-you-shou…

Why you should build an AI product if you’re non-technical
Counterintuitively, it's often easier + cheaper than "traditional" products
Being scrappy is great, but it’s just not true that AI products are inherently more expensive. In fact, AI products are often cheaper/easier to build for non-technical teams than “traditional” products.
If you know any freelancers/agencies that are using AI a LOT to move faster, I'd love to chat. We've gotten a bunch of demand for this recently, looking to onboard some additional supply.
Since publishing that article about centaur agencies, I've onboarded a dozen teams that are using AI to ship products for clients 10X cheaper. Hearing them talk about how they do it is the most I've felt in a long time like I'm seeing into the future. Good f'ing week 🫡
Since starting to work on Grids a few months ago I’ve spent 100% of my time in the weeds of how AI will help startups get products built 100X cheaper and faster. My mind is blown on a daily basis — what I’m learning is just too good not to share.
Move fast and make things
Last week, I talked to two founders — one that spent $200k to get an MVP built in 8 months, and another that got a similarly sized MVP built for $10k in 20 days thanks to AI. Welcome to the era of centaur agencies.
Friends don’t let friends spend $100k building an initial product in 2024 🫡
Hey founders, it shouldn’t cost $100K to get your initial product built 😬 Big news — we’re launching something new. Introducing @Gridsdotco
