Socialists don’t understand ambition or success. Not one Cabinet Minister has ever run a business. That’s why Labour are set on blowing out Britain’s entrepreneurial spark.
We didn’t just announce policies this week. We announced plans. The @Conservatives are serious about building a stronger economy. We will create a culture that supports risk takers and wealth creators from day one.
The Conservative Party is back, with a serious plan, an experienced team and a backbone. Catch up on our new Conservative agenda from conference👇
Good to attend @griffitha MP's roundtable to discuss everything from firearms licensing to the impact devolution will have on rural communities. Arundel & South Downs is incredibly rural, and needs a strong voice in Parliament - thanks for your time & engagement #CLA @CLAtweets

This week, @KemiBadenoch proved the @Conservatives are serious. We showed we have a plan for a stronger economy, for stronger borders, how we will always be on the side of Britain’s risk takers. If that’s the Britain you stand for, stand with us.
This week I announced @Conservatives will: • Make it easier to get a business bank account • Expand a Youth Enterprise scheme to every school • Plans to hold HMRC to account • A promise to overhaul IR35 rules We will remove the blockages between business and growth.
Conference round up: Conservatives 🌳: Here are some exciting, detailed and costed policies Reform ➡️: Buy this football shirt and listen to Andrea Jenkyns Labour 🌹: "Farage and Reform" Lib Dems 🔶️: "Reform and Farage" Greens 🟢: Here's some policies but they're INSANE
Abolishing stamp duty is the single best reform any government could make to Britain's tax system. As things stand, this outdated and uneconomic levy is wreaking havoc on our already troubled housing market – by deterring sales and depressing house-building...
Stamp duty’s plagued Britain since Labour introduced it in 2003. It can’t be reformed, it can’t be tweaked: it has to go. Conservatives will abolish stamp duty and stop penalising those who want to own a home, build a family or to downsize.
The ineptitude of this socialist government knows no bounds. Driving wealth creators and success out of our country, making us all poorer.

We have to crush the barriers to starting a business. The UK should be easiest place in the world for entrepreneurs to launch - but years of fetishism for regulation have got in the way. That's why I announced plans to stamp out the blockages to business.
Opposition is not easy, just as it’s not easy to admit that we got things wrong. It would be easy to continue to promise more spending, but I’m not in this because it’s easy. We need to do what is right: cut spending and let people keep more of what they earn.
Only the @Conservatives know that government doesn’t create growth, businesses do. So we’ll free 250,000 shops and pubs from business rates for good - saving small businesses and reviving high streets!
A permanent 100% business rates relief for retail, hospitality and leisure. That's our plan for Britain’s high streets.
We’ve announced today that we will be giving 100% business rates relief to 250k pubs, shops, and restaurants. That means high streets, hardest hit under Labour, will finally get help. I spoke to hospitality groups this month and I know this will help many, especially pubs.
