Been a while but Mia has turned in to a chatter box who is now interested in the potty. Her teachers say she is really opening up at school.
We had a challenging Halloween. Mia was happy but stuck with anxiety. She did warm up at the last house and told me she was having fun.
We just got back from Mia's parent teacher conference. She is doing well but we need to do more with speech and multi-step instructions.
I'm not sure John McCain realizes Sara Palin is the mother of a child with Down syndrome. #Current

We had a very tough day. Mia got hit in the mouth by a large plastic swing and it cut her lip really bad and knocked out some teeth.
Mia had a wonderful day today. Much easier tonight because she is happy and well rested. (only gets naps on Friday at school)
We are having a difficult time with potty training at school lately. I feel like I don't know what to tell her teacher. Mia can be difficult
We just got a report that Mia is resisting potty training at her early child classes. We are trying to find a way to reengage her with this.

Mia fell and knocked out a front tooth. :-( was a sad sight. It's not the end of the world but I hope this doesn't slow speech therapy.
My little Mia starts dance lessons today after school. She is going to be taking them from a High School friend of ours - Miss Vicki :-)
After yesterday's breakthrough Mia refused to get on the potty for Miss Kristine today. I just hope she will be more receptive tomorrow.
As of today at preschool Mia has started to reengage in potty training. This after about 4 months of rebelling to do so. Big day for Mc's
Mia got to spend two days in a row at the Indy children's museum. She loved it.
Even though Mia takes so long (relatively) to grow up, I was just looking through old picture and I don't know where the time went.
Mia is doing the "Swiper No Swiping, Swiper No Swiping, Swiper No Swiping, Ooh Maaaan!" over and over. She and Ellie think it hilarious.
Started a new game tonight called What's That. She made it up. She points to a picture in a book and you say what it is, then it's her turn.
Getting Mia to bed - "Come on Mia - No No No". She jumps in bed mad, starts to giggle, sucks her thumb, and then falls asleep. :-)
