DJs been good but man he’s got to start getting those deep crossers at least close, or else defenses are just going to flood the short curl/hook zones and have those safeties creep closer and closer
Tyre West has looked great so far this year. Listed at 6'3 290, West shows a nice blend of quickness and power in the run game with heavy hands rushing the passer. He's proven he can use a bull rush and various hand counters to win through and outside shoulder of Ts. 4yr senior.
It's hard to move Tim Keenan (#96) who's lined up as a 0 tech here. Stalemates the center at the point of attack and isn't knocked off balance by the guard. He then sheds him violently to assist with the stop. He'll play for a long time on Sundays as an early down rotational nose
He and Jaylon Jones need to get the vast majority of the reps when JJ returns from IR. If they don’t feel comfortable with Jones in man the way Lou likes to play it, then bring Edwards in on those downs. But they need to make the switch because the current situation is untenable
One of my favorite mid-round guys. Showed why vs. Cal.
San Diego State CB Chris Johnson is coming off of a dominant showing a week ago in the blowout win over Cal that included a 97-yard pick-six. So let's turn on the tape in another Inside the Film Room to see just how good it was... Link 🔻🔻🔻

“how bout we start this week.”
The Colts offense has been fantastic, and the secondary aside from Xavien Howard has looked good thus far. My number one takeaway tho is that the Colts need to do everything they can to trade up for Keldric Faulk because he can play anywhere across the line and create havoc
Ranking #1 with the most athletic roster in the NFL by average #RAS are the #Colts with 8.47! They also have the most players with a RAS over 8.00 with 40 and the 7th fewest players with RAS below 5.00 with 4. This trend should surprise nobody, they ranked 1st in all 3…
If Steichen gets the chance to give his input on QB next year, his experience with AR may lead him towards hopping on the Nuss Bus, especially if he gets ‘23 Minshew out of Jones this year.
Nussmeier sends the back in motion, checks into a screen, gets them to check, sends the TE in motion to declare Cover-0 (SS goes), flips the back to pick up the extra rusher to that side. Had a good look for this screen. Totally undressed the disguise, lost art
Does anyone have a good explanation for why Quinn has seen such a decrease in fastball command and velocity? Too many innings last year? I doubt the ball difference is still the primary factor.
