VCs who think all saas is dead should look inwards and ask themselves, why do you think VCs will survive in the age of AI?

The death of SaaS has been overstated. When VCs or industry analysts say that SaaS is dead, they replace the word SaaS with AI agents or some other descriptor for B2B software. Human addiction to technology is well known in the consumer space, and the same applies for anything…

Only thing that matters…. “People think it’s about putting in 10,000 hours, it’s not. It’s about 10,000 iterations. It’s not time that makes you better, it’s the number of feedback loops you run. The faster you can iterate, the faster you learn.” Iterations > Repetition

If you don’t understand this as a founder, your DOA.

a mistake we see many founders make is tackling too large of a vision starting off. you hear the truism that good start-ups tackle large markets, and so you start building a Maximum Viable Product that solves multiple problems or replaces an entire incumbent (ex. "Figma killer")…

This is so true that I wondered where else I can apply this to… For startups: You can also replace “is significantly dumber” with “has no track record of actually building a 0-1 startup” @tunguz

Life lesson: if you ever come into a major disagreement, especially an acrimonious one, with someone who is significantly dumber than you, just walk away. You’ll never be able to rationally explain where you are coming from, and nothing good comes from continuing confrontation.

Uhhh what is happening here??? That boat celebrating some Mexican boat just crashed into Brooklyn Bridge
