TEACHERS who are forced to do all your work online! I’ve got 50 more Surface Laptops to give away to any educators who need a new device. Please tag your favourite teachers and I’ll pick 50 at random. PS- Teachers, you’re allowed to be your own favourite and tag yourself! 🙌🏾

Schools cannot reopen when large gatherings of people are still prohibited. 100s of people affected. Most schools don't have enough desks and classroom spaces under normal circumstances. Too many staff and learners with pre-existing health conditions or family members with same.

It’s too much of a risk! I personally will not risk my children’s lives should you guys decide to open next week. Education vs a life? Why not continue with online learning, and for those school who are unable to do so why not have a day where parents can collect the work safely?

How are you going to address the issue of social or physical distancing in township schools that has got over 60learners per class? How is the phased in of grades going to help while in actual fact at the end of the day all learners will be back at school?

Dear Minister of Basic Education, the infections are rising, 1 death is 1 death too many, schools are breeding grounds for this virus, it is mass gathering in taxis, busses and classrooms. Taxis won't drive with 2 kids. 99 tested positive in one factory. Why expose our kids?

What measures will be put in place for children with chronic illnesses that are more susceptible to this virus? How do we ensure social distancing during break times? What is the possibility of giving parents the option of e-learning or virtual classes to reduce numbers in class?

My students, staff, own children and family's lives is super important for me. Me and my children have chronic underlying health issues and so does many of my children in school as well as staff. I would never want to stand next to an grave of one of my students, staff members or

It will be such a burden for school principals as we will be expected to support teachers and learners on something we also don't know.

This has been a traumatizing period for all of us, please don’t kill us alive. Let’s wait until the time is right. What’s the rush for?

How can one just think of losing a child in return of the reopening of school. Education can recover but losing my child for a lifetime is difficult to deal with. He was a blessing from God. How dare you "justify value" the education more then the life of my child

... We can't then expect that they will conform when in schools, it will be difficult for parents ad schools to provide masks to all learners and or buy disinfectants. Interestingly the state cannot afford these too. I therefore suggest that schools should be the last to open...

Maybe they can cut down the class sizes and employ more teachers. 15 learners per teacher
