Post 2012 aggressive gentrification of East London aside, I love my hometown, #Walthamstow. I love that my parents still rock net curtains there on a terraced street full of wooden blinds. And I love that 10k people turned up tonight to celebrate this gorgeous chunk of London. x

Having spent the last week at my first @EdinburghTVFest, I've been reflecting a lot on the idea of 'risk'. It's a word that was used in almost every panel I went to. Louis Theroux spoke about it. Meera Syal spoke about it. So many delegates spoke about it. I hate the word risk.
