Under the latest CFB playoff system teams that get a bye for the the team with the bye is 1-7. Only Indiana won. Every other team with a bye loss. This is not a coincidence. Add 4 teams and have top 8 teams host round 1. No byes. Being off for 25 days is not an advantage.
