From FB 😢 Post from a Beekeeper 🐝 “Its late, and maybe in the morning I'll delete this post, but I've just got home and for now I need to write this down. Earlier this evening I received a message from a home owner to say they had a swarm of bees in their hedge, but they were…

Mind your own business, which seems to be utterly ruining your country.

A spectacularly bad decision. Helps Putin & hurts the Brits.

Would it not be a better message for 2022 to renounce narratives of End Times and Apocalypse? Such beliefs can be a subconscious block to positive action against Climate Change. Our existence is dependent on its relation to everything that surrounds us. archbishopofcanterbury.org/news/news-and-…

Not had chance to watch this yet but it sounds great!

Artist Eiko Soga’s Autumn Salmon film shows the making of a pair of Ainu Salmon Skin boots like this pair @Pitt_Rivers (bit.ly/3a1ebAc). She shares how the Ainu pass on embodied knowledge & her privilege in learning these skills. Watch at bit.ly/39ZDPFs.

Have you seen 'The Rows of Chester' by Andrew Brown published by English Heritage? It has an excellent gazetteer at the back giving a resume (including the age) of all the buildings on the Rows. It's really good, and must have been the result of an incredible amount of work.

As someone who works in the period, I agree, but my gut reaction is that the problem isn't the term "Anglo-Saxon", the problem is white supremacists. I'm not willing to stop using it in an archaeological context simply because a bunch of shit-stains are abusing/misusing it.

Err….Okaaay….

I love this illustration of "Alfred in the Camp of the Danes, A.D. 880", from c. 1843-4. We've clearly got it all wrong, the #Vikings were VERY civilised and peaceful! 😆 Note the women and children, plus the raven banner... © The Trustees of the British Museum 1/2

Carlo Ancelloti nails it. If you've recently had Covid, please give blood. To put it bluntly, we're particularly looking for people who've had it heavily, because you've got the most antibodies. Your blood could save a life. ❣️ 💉 🙏❣️ 💉 🙏 bit.ly/39kI4Kb

Why should we be surprised at a no-deal Bexit? In 2015 Greece tried to negotiate a bail out deal and was beaten into submission to accept the EU's terms. The UK has been in tougher situations and survived and so it will without the EU - as Churchill once said 'advance Britannia'

Honestly…totally ridiculous!

wait, this is real? the Daily Mail wants us to give up on pizza and replace it with... toast and chips?

Hey. The Navajo Nation turned out and was crucial in flipping Arizona blue. Now they are going back into lockdown because of Covid. Don’t just thank us. Help. Looking at you woke tv shows who did 12 episodes about coronavirus but ignored the place MOST affected.
