New research from #teamfluency (w/ Rachel Lopez, @hcshulman, @eliza_riggs12, and Jorge Cruz Ibarra)! We found that code-mixing in a narrative inhibits processing fluency and engagement and increases out-group bias. We end with suggestions to mitigate these effects.
