There are a few times in life when you read a new book and realize that your life will be transformed if you follow its teachings. @PeterAttiaMD’s Outlive is such a book. It can save, or at a minimum massively improve, your life. I can’t imagine a better investment for 28 bucks.
Agree with this. Insurance should cover 90% of funds, above $250k at any US bank. Executives should be tried in court in case of bankruptcy.
The solution is for FDIC to offer a category of insurance where (1) deposits are fully protected but (2) banks are restricted to investing that money in fully liquid securities that are marked-to-market daily. That is the product everyone wants.
