I know the answer but still putting it out there-as a US history teacher, why is EVERY video clip narrated by a cisgender man (whose skin color is light)? Us teachers need more diverse narrators!

My students R working on significance of enslaved people’s resistance-daily choices like breaking tools to big rebellions. We’ve learned “history is not just what we choose to remember but also what we choose to forget.” I asked students to create monuments to Nat Turner-amazing!
College AP US history is a tough class, but I’m so proud of how these students truly embraced our Constitutional Convention and the interests of their groupings. Hope for the future! @DMPS_Academy

So this just happened-1. Our BLM sign was stolen from our yard a 2nd time today 2. A red truck with a Confederate flag and Trump sign just passed me on 100th. Trying to stay hopeful!
