The best copy doesn’t sound like marketing. It sounds like a conversation you wish you had earlier. When you write, talk to people, not at them. That’s the difference between sounding smart and being understood.
Most Web3 founders don’t need a new design. They need better words. Design gets attention. Words build trust. And trust is what gets people to click “connect wallet.”
If your project needs a 15-minute voice call to explain what your homepage says You don’t need a call. You need better words.
Some projects write like they’re trying to impress other founders. But the truth? The people you’re trying to reach don’t speak in “modular zk-abstract liquidity ecosystems.” They just want to understand what problem you’re solving. Simplicity wins every time.
The most powerful line on your landing page isn’t your headline. It’s the first line that makes someone nod. That’s how you know they get it. And if they get it, they’ll keep reading.
Don’t write for “the Web3 audience.” That’s not a real thing. Write for people who are curious but confused. The ones who don’t know every acronym. The ones who want to understand before they buy. That’s where trust begins.
Most crypto founders think they need better design. What they really need is better words. Design makes you look good. Copy makes people care. Start with words. Always.
Stop selling what your protocol does. Start selling what changes when people use it.

Is complexity the price we have to pay for freedom in Web3? Or is it actually the Biggest thing stopping mass adoption? Because everyone keeps saying “we need more users” Yet projects still make things harder than they need to be. IMO: Complexity isn’t the price of freedom…
The fastest way to earn trust from your audience is to show that you deeply understand their problems. The best way to show that is by using clear copy that speaks their language
