People just don't understand Covid. Boris Johnson certainly didn't. He thought that if Covid ripped through it would kill the 'bed blockers', as in the horrific note below, and get rid of them. "Why are we totally destroying the economy for people who will die anyway soon?"…
3 patients told me they caught Covid from the hospital. They have been Novids until then. So our hospital is a source of Covid infection. How is this ok? This is NOT ok. This should never happen. Such a disgrace.
Yeah, this is why I wasn’t too celebratory about this story. It’s crucial that COVID and disease mitigation receive mainstream coverage. But the guy they interviewed is a grifter. He stands to make money off this (the story is clear on that) and to make money, he needs the virus.
Here's another statement where Joe Allen argued against the use of masks, and outrageously claimed it was an issue of "equity" because no one dining in restaurants was wearing them so what's the point of anyone else wearing them (which is a complete misuse of the term equity).
