I find it more poetic and impactful overall. Becoming the legacy of your bloodline's greatest adversaries is rejecting the inherited violence of her nature, and standing by the choice of her parents of breaking a cycle of cruelty and abuse. It's a testament of her empathy.

I want to be very upfront since I have a bunch of new people following me: I absolutely love Rey Skywalker. Her continuing the Skywalker name & legacy is a beautiful ending to both her arc and the Skywalker Saga.
I've said it before, but DLF needs to stop catering to bitter Star Wars fanboys. They do nothing to contribute to the fanbase in any positive capacity and go out of their way to shit on others' enjoyment. They're deadweights that need to be left behind. Also, they're bigots.
